iPhone 3Gs: Epi 2

I had decided to sell my iPhone after using it for 16 days.  No particular reason, I just felt that I didn’t fully utilised it and I don’t foresee myself to be.  It’s a very cool gadget, I could basically check gmail, msn, play games, surf net with it and used it as GPS.  No doubt it’s a phone many are after, mainly because of its tons of applications made available at your fingertips and also it’s capability as your iPod/MP3/MP4.  I am just not used to it.  Maybe I’m not up-to-date, maybe I’m just too lazy to change.  I still find a phone to be something for me to make call, SMS and… as a alarm clock.  SIGH.  Maybe I’m just getting old.

There’re hiccups when I tried to sell it via lowyat.net trading zone.  I put it up for bid for the first time and the response was very good.  Many had offered a price close to the retail price and in the end I chose to deal with a forumer with the highest bid.  So off I go to Sunway Pyramid where we had agreed to COD on a Saturday.  I was a bit late because of traffic and difficulties to find parking.  When I reached where we’re supposed to meet, I called him several times but he didn’t pick up the phone.  Bad feeling.  Then I texted him.  He wrote back and said that he’d left because I was late, and that he also found someone else selling it at a cheaper price.  He asked me to give discount so he would come back to trade.  WTH.  Not a very ethical buyer.  I was very angry and left straight away.

I couldn’t get over the fact that I’d been ffk by him so the next day I log on to my post and told the world about the story, and reopened the bid.  This fellow still got the cheek to leave a reply accusing me for cheating by asking for higher price.  I was really mad.  But I ignored him and continue to post my best price.  Finally I’d agreed to deal with another forumer, although it’s slightly cheaper than what I was supposed to get from that ffk-er, it’s still considered a good deal as it’s just forty bucks lesser than the retail price.  This time I sent my husband to COD at Cheras area and it’s a successful deal.  Now all his friends whom are Maxis users wanted to sign up for the package and get one iPhone to sell.  Maybe we’ll make some money out of it by helping them to sell?  *evil smile*
